About

Hi my name is Eugene, I’m a native British English speaker. I have been teaching English as a foreign language for over 27 years to students of all ages and backgrounds.
After having taught in schools for many years, I became a freelance teacher in 2001, since then I have been teaching English as a foreign language to students at an individual and group level. My teaching activity over the years has been extremly varied and diverse; ranging from individual students to multinational companies and governement agencies. Some of the companies, with which I have worked, have been: Rai the Italian national broadcasting company, Alitalia, the ex Italian Flagship carrier, Banca Credito Italiano, and Legalitax, a prominent tax consultant firms in Italy as well as the Maggiore car rental company. I have also held training courses/workshops for Regione Lazio and the Policlinico Umberto I hospital in Rome. Moreover over the course of my carreer I have taught  many professionals at an individual level: doctors, lawyers, journalists and politicians, among which the late president of the European Parliament David Sassoli. My lessons are designed to cater to the specific personal needs of each student: be it starting from scratch, or prepararing for the Cambridge First Certificate /IELTS examinations, or simply brushing up ones English prior to a job interview or a presentation.
The experience I have gained over the years by having taught such a  broad and assorted range of students, has enabled me to further perfect my teaching skills and understanding of the English language. I have developed a personalised style of teaching which aimes at maximising results whilst minimizing time required for tangible results.
In 2018 as a result of technological advancements in software and applications, I decided to start teaching English online, with the intent of fully maximizing the potential of this incredible and dynamic interactive tool for learning English.
Teaching for me, has always been an exciting means of communicating and sharing knowledge and ideas with people from divers cultures from around the world.
I thoroughly enjoy what I do, and I hope to be able to share this great learning experience with you.
Thanks, Eugene.
